Today's Trees

I took these photos at the tree lot on the corner. They're offering some sic colors this year. The mossy greenish-yellow flocked 10 footer sold out right away. It was gorgeous yet a little bit ill looking. There must be something in the water in Los Angeles.....

Awwww, I wish you could've seen that huge mossy-mustard/ green one. I have never seen any like it before (AMAZING) ......but it sold before I could get a pic in. Hopefully they'll flock up another one like it!
Bright turquoise would be nice too..like your nail polish pic!

How bizarra! Are they spray painted? Do they have a smell? They do look very festive!

Oh Kate! I know you're from Australia and I don't know if they do tree flocking there....but it's pretty popular in California (for those of us who don't get snow. i think it became popular in the 70's. It's actually a spray of a fuzzy chemical fake-snow looking substance. These just happen to have modern colors infused. Pretty wacky and yes, bizarra!!
