chemical free printmaking

today i inked carburendum cutouts on cardboard, using water based inks, printed 3-color registered plates,
tried out the daniel smith solar etching plate under glass(no acid or chemicals necessary) washes with water
inspiration: this illustration (above)
i hope to ink and print the solar plate on thursday. it will go on top of the color prints (which need to dry for now)
stay tuned to see the finished print!

inspiring! I haven't done any printing for a while; looks like some good new techniques out there.

funny, these are from sketches i did a long time ago too...when i was looking forward to fall weather. from the idea to the sketch to the actual finished piece can sometimes take a very long time!
whaaaat?! does that mean if you use chemicals and flush them down the drain the tank might be exploding crap?!!!!??? ha haaaa

well it just means harsh chemicals will kill off the good bacteria...whichs eats said crap...although it would be quite comical if it exploded... well maybe...
