birthday

yesterday was a simple birthday for me, nothing fancy. i got this beautiful kaoru kawano japanese woodcut as a gift from my parents

and the chocolate cake i asked for.... with many wishes.

my 3 year old son made me 'bacon' for breakfast!

and this morning was back to the routine of packing mobiles that need to ship out

and painting mammoths and elephants to dry on the old blood orange tree.
it's a good life!
