That beautiful photo of your little Sidney leaped out from my Pinterest feed. How gorgeous Kym! You must be rapt. The cactus looks ace too. We're on school holidays, and I wouldn't mind partaking in a bit of papier mache... now if only I could read German. Is the base a huge roll of cardboard, with screwed up giant balls of newspaper for the top and the arm?
yeah, i wish there was a u.s. version of nido in english. it truly is a beautiful magazine w images of lots of different families in their homes from all around the world, natural posing, no phony baloney! yes! it's simple: 2 lg cereal boxes rolled up w masking tape & crunched newspaper balls stuffed inside & to shape the arm, then taped strips of cardboard piping for the grooves and papier mache w flour/water mix...easy easy & so fun!!
Sounds doable! We're going to give it a bash. Will keep you posted. Oh, sorry about the 'y' in Kym on my previous comment. I suddenly know a few Kims and Kyms!
so cute!
thanks nancy!
I saw this on Saskia's famous Pinterest feed and loved it. I didn't realise that the cactus -- and dear little fellow -- were yours! Loving all the new work Kim, particularly the bikini girl. Happy summer from jealous Melbourne....
