papier mache earrings!

50 pairs of handmade papier mache earrings are now available to purchase at coast to coast vintage . 50% of each earring sold is donated to no kid hungry * so far we have sold 31 pairs and have already donated over $700!! thanks to jaimee for her brilliant idea to collaborate and help others during these times of covid19 quarantine. with 3 kids at home, i know how hard it is to keep food in the house with the future so uncertain. these earrings were intended to travel to portland to sell at art and soul retreat but i had to eat my airline tickets and the workshops that were scheduled. thank you for your purchases, every dollar counts! Happy Birthday Dolly!

Dolly Parton's Birthday is January 19th. She is the 4th of 12 children who grew up in poverty in Sevierville, Tennessee.
She likes to wear butterflies in her outfits and decorate her sets with them. Butterflies are symbols of rebirth, transformation, beauty and freedom.
It took me 5 years to collect all these images of Dolly to create this 10 ft. piece. (It wouldn't fit in the house!) Here's a close-up view.
My favorite song by Dolly is her first big solo hit, Jolene.
