yeah...one can do that especially when you live somewhere else for a while...in the early 90s i lived in england for about 6 months...that is where i basically learned how to make mexican food...totally out of desperation...my moms home is decorated arte de mexico style...i love mexican pottery too...i love going to olvera(sp?) street...i remember being like 4 yrs old and being desperate for a big lacy spanish fan there.
Love Olvera St.too. When I was a kid we'd go a few times a year and I collected the marionette folkloric puppets. All the eye candy. So fun for kids and adults....inspiring for me. Have you been lately? It really hasn't changed much in all these years.

I love the Mexican pottery style trees of life (candleabra's?). I'd forgotten how much i love Mexican art (food too) till I moved back to LA....

i was there last year...we try to go down there for the day of the dead festivities...the shrines are so sad,amazing, and beautiful!
