this week-end my son donovan played young william in a period film called the flight of man. it was filmed in an old schoolhouse (preserved from the early 1900's) in yucaipa, ca. i've been thinking a lot about the old days, this gorgeous original victorolla from the yucaipa museum and this old schoolhouse photo from luckylittledot

yucaipa is a beautiful place to live and so much history preserved from the early settlers. rattlesnakes too... very cool!
